Amanda Guma is a versatile dancer, choreographer, and facilitator with a passion for inclusive and dynamic movement. Trained in contemporary and African dance styles, she has performed with renowned companies such as Indoni Arts and Leadership Academy, Baba Yaya, Jazzart, and Dance for All.

As a facilitator, Amanda empowers individuals and communities through dance, blending movement with creativity, science, and social commentary. Her recent work includes Surgimento (Emergence) and UCT 3rd Choreography (2023). In 2019, her solo piece was awarded second runner-up, earning her a spot in the Baxter Dance Festival.

Amanda holds a PGCE from the University of Cape Town and is a qualified FET Dance Teacher. She is deeply committed to using dance as a tool for social change, personal growth, and community building.
