Our Community Champions have been leading monthly workshops at Zip Zap Circus, engaging up to 35 young people from nearby communities.

The Amy Foundation works in aftercare programmes in Cape Town’s poorest communities. After a successful pilot programme in 2024, Heartshine will once again run Saturday workshops for 30 of their most vulnerable 8–15 year olds this year.

The Bonteheuwel ECD Forum manages 27 ECD centres across this violence-ridden community. In April 2024, we launched a programme to train 21 ECD educators in the Music Tree methodology, specially adapted for the South African context. This programme will continue into 2025, training an additional 20 educators.
