Lisa Garson is a seasoned recruitment development specialist as well as a skilled facilitator, a certified Coach in the International Zen Coaching Network and an Organisational Relations Systems Coaching (ORSC) practitioner. 14 years ago she qualified as a Molombo sangoma and has completed her foundation training in family constellations with African Constellations. She is the owner of a well-known development recruitment agency, Action Appointments, founder of a youth development NGO, Action Volunteers Africa and the MD of her new coaching company NextStep Coaching.
Lisa’s coaching and personal development workshops involve guiding and encouraging individuals and groups to make the most of their life experience and unleash their inner resources to take their next steps forward in life, either personally or in their careers. Her strengths lie in supporting clients to become aware of the negative patterns and beliefs that block them from identifying their true inner assets and resources, as well as their next best step. She has developed a successful and popular personal development course, Breaking Beliefs, which has encouraged many young South Africans to set aside the imposed self-sabotaging beliefs that hold them back.
She is also the Executive Director of Action Appointments, the only recruitment agency in South Africa specialising exclusively in placements in the development sector. Action Appointments operates throughout Africa with the head office in Cape Town.
